Mehdi Ibn Abdelouahab elected to the regional council of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima

A partner at Baker Tilly in Morocco, Mehdi Ibn Abdelouahab was elected on 5 October to the regional council of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima. He will sit on the council as an assessor for the 2026–2029 term.

Mehdi Ibn Abdelouahab opened the firm’s Tangier office in 2018. His team supports Moroccan companies and subsidiaries of international groups with their audit, advisory and tax matters. A graduate of ENCG Tangier and a chartered accountant trained at ISCAE, he began his career at a Big Four firm before joining Baker Tilly in Morocco in 2017. He has been a partner since 2020.

Established in 2020 and chaired by Nafeh Agourram, the regional council has ten members. It reviews registration applications from chartered accountants in the region, oversees professional discipline and appoints supervisors for trainee accountants.
